Background

Since 2014 RENAC is part of a European project consortium in the framework of the United Nations /European Union (EU) SE4All for Western and Central Africa. The Sustainable Energy for All initiative (SE4All) – Technical Assistance Facility (SE4ALL- TAF) was funded by the EU’s Directorate General for Development and Cooperation. SE4ALL aimed to achieve the following three objectives by 2030:
A. ensure universal access to modern energy services;
B. double the rate of improvement in energy efficiency, and
C. double the share of renewable energy in the global energy mix.
