E-Learning content manager – Renewable energy training

We, the Renewables Academy (RENAC) AG, are an internationally oriented training provider specialised in renewable energy technologies and energy efficiency as well as the applications of green hydrogen and power-to-X. We offer online and face-to-face training in Germany and abroad, set up local training structures, implement study courses in cooperation with universities and organise numerous events as part of the Energy Export Initiative.

Since our establishment in 2008, we have trained over 25,000 participants from the public and private sectors as well as the financial services industry in over 160 countries. We currently have 55 permanent employees working at our Berlin Prenzlauer Berg headquarters, a minute’s walk from Senefelderplatz.

To support our e-learning team, we are currently looking for an employee to help us develop new and exciting e-learning materials about climate protection, renewable energies, hydrogen, power-to-X and energy efficiency. The position is full or part-time (30 – 38.5h) and to be filled as soon as possible.

  • Project management for the development of interactive e-Learning teaching materials in English
  • Being the pedagogical lead in the design and production of teaching materials consisting of texts, graphics, exercises, animations and videos
  • Cooperating with subject matter experts, translators and editors
  • Participating in international projects for customers in Germany and abroad
  • Working knowledge of instructional design principles and authoring tools to create interactive training content for adult learners
  • Experience in gamification, virtual reality and screen casting is desirable
  • Ability to work with Learning Management Systems
  • Experience managing small teams
  • Professional written and spoken English (C1+) and German (B2+) language skills; other languages are desirable (e.g. Spanish or French)
  • Excellent knowledge of MS-Office tools
  • Critical thinker with attention to detail
  • Residence in Berlin or surrounding area
  • You will help to shape the transformation of energy systems worldwide, contributing to climate protection through increased renewable energy use
