For 18 years, Volker has held various positions as a corporate banker for Deutsche Bank AG in Germany, Malaysia, Hong Kong, and Indonesia. He has vast experience in credit and corporate banking and finance. After leaving Deutsche Bank in 2010, he started his own consultancy company in Jakarta, Indonesia, advising clients on financing solutions. Volker developed specific expertise on renewable energy and energy efficiency financing structures and advises governments, government institutions, and development agencies in the ASEAN region on sustainable finance issues.
