Empowering Women as Managers in the Renewable Energy Sector

The contribution of women to the social and economic development of Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) economies hasn’t reach its full potential. APEC Governments had implemented initiatives to advance the position, role, and impact of women and promoted women’s entrepreneurship and economic engagement through improving their access to education, finance, and technology. Developed by the United States and funded by APEC, the new project Empowering Women as Managers in the Renewable Energy Sector was then implemented by the Renewables Academy (RENAC), SD Strategies, and Nedworc Foundation.
