Background

To develop the strategy, 5 Regional Training Centres of the West African Power Pool (WAPP) were considered. Therefore, the stakeholders are the WAPP -Secretariat in Cotonou (Benin), the Centre des Métiers de l’Electricité (CME) in Bingerville (Côte d’Ivoire), Volta River Authority (VRA) Academy (Ghana), Centre de Formation Professionnelle et de Perfectionnement (CFPP, Bénin), Centre de Formation et de Perfectionnement Professionnels (CFPP, Sénégal) and Kainji Regional Training Centre (Nigéria).

To develop this strategy, RENAC analysed the situation in each Regional Training Centre and published the results as well as several strategic options for a common eLearning training offer. Representatives of the stakeholders discussed the options in an online meeting.
