Train-the-trainer programmes

As an experienced provider of training services, RENAC is well-equipped to provide clients with comprehensive Train-the-Trainer (TtT) programmes. Our TtT programme instructors are highly skilled educators who conduct training activities that ensure professionals receive a high-quality educational experience. Our interactive TtT programmes enable participants to build on their instructional skills and teach the material to others.

Programmes made to meet clients’ training objectives

We work with our clients to design and implement programmes that will meet their training goals. When you work with us on your TtT programme, we discuss the most suitable option for your organisation and the professionals you would like to complete the programme. Depending on your exact needs and the participants’ backgrounds, our programmes usually last around 5 to 10 days.

RENAC can deliver TtT programmes in Berlin, online, or at a location agreed with the client. Where a training centre is not available, RENAC can also design and implement one with our turnkey training centre service. Please enquire to find out more.

Depending on the participants and the client’s specific requirements, our programmes provide training that:

contains courses that cover renewable energy or energy efficiency technologies and topics (both technical and non-technical),
focuses on didactics and methodology,
or both.

After our TtT programmes, trainees will be able to:

learn more about the latest technological including advances related to wind, solar, bioenergy, or photovoltaic energy, green hydrogen, and other cutting-edge topics,
develop, conduct, and evaluate training effectively,
facilitate the learning process,
apply appropriate teaching methods for interactive training,
reflect on previous training skills and practice interactive elements,
use appropriate verbal and non-verbal communication techniques.

Sample TtT Programme

Typical steps in the process:

Selecting and assessing trainers to conduct the train-the-trainer programme
Designing and developing programme content and methodology, including providing starter kits with slides, exercises, and additional tools for trainers
Facilitating the train-the-trainer programme
Evaluating trainees and providing feedback
Supporting trainees upon completion of the programme (twinning programme)

In-person

Duration: We have 5-day and 10-day programmes available.

Location: We can host training events at RENAC’s Training Centre in Berlin, Germany, at a location of the client’s choosing, or RENAC can design and install a training centre.
